Riding on poorly inflated tires make cycling more difficult and flats happen on rides. For these reasons I keep a pump with me. When preparing for a ride, I prefer to have the least amount of stuff I can get by with. This lightweight pump stays out of the way, but does the job when needed.

This pump made with a high-pressure carbon-fiber barrel is 11 inches / 28 cm long and weighs 5.5 ounces / 157 grams. The handle folds out from the pump forming an ergonomic T handle. Combined with the double-action internals, this pump will easily fill your tires to 160 psi. 160 psi is overkill for mountain bikes and is needed more for road bikes. A bracket with Velcro strap keeps the pump attached to your bike in between uses.

It’s light and pretty! It doesn’t take much effort to get your tire up to the right pressure and the valve works so very well. I wish I had sized it properly before I went to Lebanon because this one is way way too large for my frame but there is NO WAY I am going back to any other pump! The grippy parts work so well I didn’t need the velcro. So there is no real need to use the pump peg.
