A hard bike for my 5 y.o. son to pedal
Got this for my son for Christmas 2008. While the transformers look is nice for a very boyish boy, the bike is heavy and hard to pedal. My son, who was 5 at the time, simply couldn't do it. We ended up buying him another bike, used that he could ride better. Wouldn't recommend this bike without having a child try to ride it first.

Optimus Prime
This is a great bike. We originally purchased the spiderman bike (same size) for my son and he would not ride it. It was too hard to peddle or something. He got on this bike at the store and took off. For some reason, it is easier to peddle and steer. No kickstand, but we don't care- he is so proud of himself...

not what we expected
we purchased this bike for our son. It is no where near the quality that we expected. We had to replace the front intertube twice already due to poor craftmanship of the bike. would I buy another bike online again? You are better off going to the store. At least you can see what you are paying for.

Son loved it!
My son loved it! Don't do it the night before X-mas or B-day just in case a part is missing.

Something mssing... Skeptic at online order of bike...
Like other buyers, I bought it for my 6 year old boy. The transformer design looks great, but not attracted too much by the design (Now, I became very skeptical at ordering a bike on line). I had been worried about the safe delivery. My worry is not just worry. All the bolts and nuts for hand brake are missing, and one bolts and nuts for a fender are also missing. The chainguard is broken. It's kind of frustrating to get a broken item and hard to return it because you had already assembled it.
In conclusion, I decided to keep it. I stopped by a local bike service shop to get missing parts, but still couldn't get it, so I sent a replace part request to the service department of Kent International with warranty coverage. The assembly manual is not clealy printed. Expecially, the guards are hard to assemble only with the manual.
My recommendation is "first, don't buy a bike on line, and second, don't be deceived by the desing."
